| OUR HISTORY... Fin Preo s.r.l. was founded back in 1989 out of a passion for cashmere by its creator Barbara Preo. Originally being a hobby to create personalized articles of clothing in cashmere for herself and family, it soon turned into a real bonafide profession. The extraordinary success her pullovers received among friends and acquaintances inspires her to create the first “Virginia Preo Cashmere” woman’s collection made up of a few simple models which immediately become a huge hit on the market. It’s this attention to quality both in material chosen as well as its numerous phases of transformation into articles of clothing that make these products, using only the best two ply duvet of cashmere, so successful. Soon what had been a small collection of articles for women became a much more important ensemble with models for men as well as children making their debut even on the international market. The first sales location, The “Virginia Preo Cashmere” boutique, was born in 2003 in Venice, Italy; as the proof of a job very well done over the years. Apart from the outstanding quality of the products, another strong point is the unrelenting care (and extreme satisfaction) to the customer whether thru a wide range of colors or thru custom-made personalized items. The final objective of Fin Preo s.r.l. is that of continuing to manufacture first class articles of clothing for a select few with the same dedication and enthusiasm as always. Viginia Preo, Barbara's daughter and inspiration for the brandname, joined the firm in 2009 with her contribution being in Strategic Marketing. To satisfy the needs of an ever demanding younger clientele as well, further alterations and innovative modifications have been made with the result being The 2010 Spring/Summer Collection. In September 2011 a new milestone for the company: the arrival in London with the opening of the second flagship store in the heart of the fashion district. By way of the ear 50 on the ground floor boutique decor that sees the protagonist as the raw material of the brand, cashmere, the first floor showroom. |
